Welcome to our Medicine Applications Preparation Day, specifically designed for GDST. On Thursday 20 June from 9am-4pm, our Medicine Senior Admissions Consultant Oluchi will guide you through what it takes to succeed in Medical School applications. The morning will focus on the UCAT, running through each of the 5 sections of the test and strategies for boosting performance in them (with mock questions); before the afternoon looks at Medicine interviews, in particular the styles of question that can be asked, tips and tricks for success when faced with difficult questions, and feedback on how to answer case-style scenarios. Our questions have been designed by our full-time team after conducting an in-depth analysis of our previous student case studies. You will also improve your verbal communication skills and confidence in answering questions with a subject expert and learn the tips and tricks that set students apart.
