EPQ Boot Camp
An exciting opportunity to gain a qualification worth half an A-level in just four weeks. The Extended Project Qualification is particularly valued by Oxbridge and makes great content for both Personal Statements and interview questions.
What is the EPQ?
The EPQ is an A-level standard standalone qualification designed to extend students’ abilities beyond the A-level syllabus.
• It can be taken as an extension of other Level 3 qualifications
• It’s worth half an A-level (28 UCAS points)
• Many universities make lower A-level offers to students undertaking an EPQ
The EPQ is a research-based project that involves writing a dissertation (usually 5,000 words). They can also undertake practical projects that involve creating an artefact or a production, which are then are backed up with a 1,000 word report. The final stage is a 10-15 minute presentation to a group of non-specialists about your topic.
