Accommodation and Pastoral Information

Life as an Oxford Student

“Oxford is such a beautiful city and I felt so lucky to study there! You have to work hard but the subjects are so exciting and interesting. Your studies will be based around weekly tutorials, which are a great way to discuss a topic in-depth and hear lots of different points of view. You also have lectures and, if you’re a scientist, lab sessions. Your social life is based around your college - the college system creates a great community and provides loads of opportunities for hobbies and sports, as well as offering really good welfare and support.” - Louise, graduate of Brasenose College, 2016
